What is our vision? Our vision is a world in which every person loves the other person unconditionally and in which every person supports and helps the other person, providing pastoral care, social care, shelter and needs further basic needs. Our vision is based on unconditional Christian charity. What is our mission? Our mission as a team is to love every person unconditionally and to support and care for them help provide the pastoral care they need.
Who do we want to provide for?
We want to help everyone in our society who feels lonely, sad, rejected, broken and/or feels abandoned.
How do you do that?
We are in contact with and visit several churches and Christian organizations starting in
Amsterdam and surrounding areas looking for people who need help and pastoral care. As soon as we contact them, we provide support to start the healing and recovery process, until they eventually be able to stand on their own two feet.
Where and what?
We are located in Amsterdam. We start our work in Amsterdam and the surrounding area.
As soon as a request for help reaches us, we offer unconditional charity and support to the
people who need it and we are looking for partners and volunteers to help us.
Who supports, sponsors and finances the work?
We want to attract donors and sponsors through our website and social media to help cover the costs that are paid for our work. Besides that we want to build a network
between churches, Christian organizations and volunteers to give us donations and help us
to continue our services.The donors and sponsors can be a person or company, but also Christian institutions, churches and mission organizations.
How are the assets managed?
The foundation's assets are used at all times to achieve the goals
objectives of the Foundation. The Foundation will not hold more assets than reasonably necessary is for the continuity of the planned activities for the purposes of the
Founding.Remuneration policy
The directors receive an expense allowance for the actual costs incurred,
for example for travel and accommodation costs.The directors may also be paid attendance fees (a fixed fee per meeting)promised.Reward : The board receives no reward.

Financial Responsabilities: In the Stichting Nova-Alma the financial reponsibilty is divided by the three partners with a help of a volunteer book keeper and services of an accountant when it is necessary.
Remuneration ( No employement & No salaries been paid): The Stichting Nova-Alma does not pay any salaries and there are no employees. Directors don’t receive any salary or premium.
Volunteers: They don’t receive any salary or payment. Our works are social help given to the people we assist. No financial or social benefits are paid to no one.
Refunds: There is a possibility to refund some money spent , when Directors use their own capital in some special tasks and projects, such as renting a space and preparing lunches and meals to the ones in need. Or in some cases where the Directors participate on Int´l Conferences, Organizing Retreats or take part on Int´l Congresses, representing the Stichting Nova-Alma. Travelling expenses might be refunded once a year.
Portugal Christian Retreat Project: We as a Stichting Nova-Alma are supporting the development of a Christian Retreat Project in Portugal. Besides the good weather, gastronomy and the wonderful variety of geography of Portugal, one of the main reasons we planned to develop this project is because to buy the land is much cheaper and affordable in Portugal. We are now busy to purchase a small farm with land in Vila de Rei, Central Portugal, with 5.000 m2 in a green area with a house with 3 sleeping rooms, living room, kitchen and bathrooom and toilet. The goal is to host christians temporarily, people who are going through stressfull situations, depression, grieving, burn-out of in need of emotional care and rehabilitation. We believe this way we can create a special farm place for pastoral care, inner healing and relaxation in the nature. We are looking for sponsors, churches, donateurs and volunteers who want to help us to develop this project in Portugal. In order that the Stichting Nova-Alma achieve their goals to develop their Pastoral Care Ministry, it will be intensified the visitings to other Churches, Christian Orgnizations and other Private Institutions. Stichting Nova-Alma hopes this way to get donations, financial support and more people to help us as volunteers. A monthly News Letter is on its way to be mailled to our Donaterus, Stichtingen and to our Support ‘s List in order that they will be well informed on a regular basis about all our activities. Hoping this way more people will be supporting Stichting Nova-Alma to be a blessing for the people in need.

NEWS LETTER
Description of the Recent Activities:
Activities of February - March 2025 News Letter - Written By: Falcon Ferreira
Our Evangelism: On February and March 2025 on Saturdays we have been participating with our leader, Sander de Lit, on the evangelism team. This has been another important part of our weekly schedule, on saturdays at Dam square, Amsterdam. Sometimes we are at Central station in Amsterdam. This way we participate in this Ministry, serving God and proclaming the Name of Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, setting us free from the enemy attacts and schemes, guiding us through the Light from the Holy Spirit is a real blessing and deliverance.
This way we have been blessed, serving and blessing others, talking about Jesus Christ, guiding them, informing and praying for their souls and asking the Lord Jesus to take over our efforts to save lives for the Kingdom of God.
We enjoy also to eating together, cooking together, praying and worshiping the Lord as a team. In our Evangelism group there are many participants, coming people from many different countries and churches, a variety of back grounds and many different cultures. Volunteer Work. If anyone want to help us as a Volunteer in the Retreat Project in Portugal, it can be done but we need to receive your application. First you need to subscribe yourself via our email: info@nova-alma.nl and let us know your interest and how you intend to help us, for example: cooking, cleaning, electric installations, wood work, painting, gardening, building some structure or helping others in the reform of the farm house.
In Amsterdam as a volunteer: Someone can also contact and inform a Christian or a Missionary Organization about our Farm Retreat in Portugal. We as a Stichting are planning to go visiting different churches in Amsterdam by appointment, promoting our Ministry and our Pastoral Care Projects. You could participate also on our volunteer‘s home bible studies group on Thursdays, starts on May 2025 from 19:45 hrs to 22:00 hrs. Church Visitings: On March 2025 we have visited the brazilian Assembly of God Church in Westerpark, Amsterdam, We have make some appointments to talk with Pastors about our Pastoral Care Project through our Stichting Nova Alma. Our goal is to make a the joint venture with their Pastoral Care Team to help the brazilians in need inside of their own community. We also take part of Liberty Church at Vondelpark where once in while we volunteer to help the welcome team in their church. Besides that we have been participating in one of their community connected groups in South Amsterdam, lead by Brian. It has been a blessed time.
Nassau Kerk: Once a month , 1st Tuesday in the month, we help in the Schakelar( by breakfast time for the Dakloos and ThuisLoos ) as Volunteer Pastor together with Pastor Lydia Meiling from the Nassau Kerk in Westerpark, Amsterdam.
In Amsterdam West, there is also the Soup & Soul Project, once a month, on the first Tuesday on the month, organized by the Nassau Kerk, where now we are participating as guests and onThe Buurt Hulp, which are two different ways to help the people in need of assistance in the neighborhood.
Once a week the Nassau Kerk is going to be open to the public and we will start to offer also through the Schakel and the church, pastoral care for the ones in need with Pastor Lydia Meilling and Pr. Falcon.
GWL Terrein: We are taking part on the Parasol Project offering coffee and tea plus cakes and cookies been served to the neighbours and visitors who are coming to the BuurtHuis every monday morning from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. at GWL Terrein, Amsterdam Wester Park . Future Mission Project:
At the moment we need first to integrate ourselves at Central Portugal. After while we hope to be able to help and support some local churches as volunteeers, sharing our vision for Pastoral Care services, but first we need to complete the reforming on the farm house.
Portugal Christian Retreat Project:
At last week of March. 2025 we have been searching for a new property with a 3 bedroom house in a small farm This time in Central Portugal. Now we have found on the first week of April, something interesting and we would like to negociate. It is a small piece of land with 5.000 m2 with a farm house already built in with to 3 sleeping rooms, living room, kitchen and bathrooom and toilet. We have signed the sales cortract and given a 10% (ten) down payment on the property. Now we have 120 days maximum to finalize the purchasing, paying the total amount agreed for the property at Notary, and sign the final Tiltle in the name of our Stichting Nova-Alma. We are still missing 6.000,00 euros( six thousand) on the sales price but we hope and pray that God will help us to obtain the money that is needed. After this transaction is done our goal is to host temporarily christians who are going through stressfull situations on their lives, depression, grieving, burn-out of in need of emotional care and rehabilitation. We believe this way we can create a special farm place for pastoral care, inner healing and relaxation in the nature. We are looking for sponsors, churches, donateurs and volunteers who want to help us to build this project in Portugal.
